The Shasta Tech Fleece 1/4 Zip uses a two-layer shell instead of the Avalante line's single sweater-knit face: an anti-pill polar fleece backed by a polyester pongee secondary layer, which makes it more wind-resistant and better suited to being worn as an outer layer rather than a mid-layer. The high collar and 1/4 zip trap warmth at the neck, and a kanga pocket with a brushed tricot lining doubles as a hand-warmer pocket up front. An internal audio sleeve routes a headphone cord from an inside pocket to the collar, a detail aimed at warehouse, delivery, or outdoor-crew staff who wear it for a full shift. Contrast cuffs and hem give it a two-tone look that reads a step more technical than the Avalante fleeces.
