A shirt-jacket hybrid rather than a technical shell: the same 100% recycled nylon ripstop fabric and 40-gram polyester fill insulation, but with a snap-front closure instead of a zipper and a smooth mini-ripstop nylon liner. It keeps the chest “beer simpatico” pocket and water-repellent finish, with a premium YKK zipper reserved for the pocket.
The button-front styling reads more casual than the other Mountain Standard jackets here, which makes it a good fit for a program that wants outerwear that doubles as everyday wear, not just cold-weather gear.
