This Comfort Colors® shirt starts as 100% ring-spun cotton, 30 singles at 6.1 oz./yd² (10 oz/L yd in Canada), then goes through the brand's garment-dye process rather than being dyed as raw fabric. That order matters: garment dyeing gives the shirt a broken-in, lived-in feel right out of the package and noticeably less shrinkage than a shirt dyed before it's sewn.
