The 0.055" Custom License Plate steps up to a mid-weight poly plastic blank — noticeably stiffer than our 0.035" plate and better suited to plates that will actually be displayed on a wall, propped in a shop window, or handled repeatedly at events rather than tucked away as a throwaway. It still prints edge to edge in full color, so detailed designs, gradients, and photo-quality artwork all come through cleanly.
This is our middle-ground gauge: thicker and more durable than the 0.035" option without the extra cost of the heavy-duty 0.075" plate. EQP does not apply, so quantity pricing follows our standard breaks. Good choices here include dealership add-ons, sports team spirit plates, and promotional plates meant to be kept and displayed rather than mounted outdoors long-term.
