The Avalon Softside 16" is Ricardo's smallest carry-on, sized to fit neatly under most airline seats rather than the overhead bin, which matters on regional jets with limited bin space. Like the Weekender above, the shell is made from recycled polyester (rPET) reclaimed from plastic bottles, though the zippers, wheels, and handles are not. In-line skate wheels, a large top opening, and a front zippered pocket handle day-to-day access, while a removable zippered 3-1-1 wet pouch is already built in for TSA-compliant liquids — one less thing to pack separately. Reinforced corner protectors and a telescoping handle round out a bag built for short trips rather than a full week away.
